Job Description:

Plays an integral role in the strategic positioning of the website with sales and the promotion of its value propositions in order to leverage the role of the sales engineer for the customer, increase of online share, and to streamline the omni- channel approach. Acts as a Consultant and subject matter expert on Festo’s website, its tools and benefits for different customer personas and the sales force. Analyzes customer segments & industry segments for online sales potentials and consults those customers and the according sales representatives regarding website value added for their business. Analyzes customer sales process for this purpose and develops actions plans together with sales force. Helps create documentation, tutorials for customers and Festo internal users, and trainings for sales force.

  • Analyze customer segments, industry segments and sales to identify online business opportunities and additional business for Festo
  • Mapping of customers’ process gaps to the website benefits, to  leverage sales reps and increase customer experience with Festo
  • Conduct consultancy and workshops with sales and identified customers
  • Solution outline for sales and customers on how to utilize the benefits of Fox for their business and to improve their online experience
  • Built a deep understanding/knowledge of customers’ processes and the Festo sales processes online & offline
  • Contribute to the further improvement of Fox and customer engagement based on own insight
  • Built network with other sales channels and support integration of online sales into omni-channel approach
  • Responsibility for selected KPIs (MBOs determined annually)
  • Completes all necessary follow-up and administrative tasks required
  • Align operational topics, to support strategic/conceptual development of online business

Experience and Skills:

 •   Excellent people and training skills

•   Strong with change management

•   Convincing and emphatic personality

•   Proven trainer experience preferred

•   Knowledge about Festo Online Experience and online sales preferable

•   Understanding of Festo products and services – Engineering background preferred

•   Basic analytics capability necessary

•   Process design knowledge in general and for Festo sales processes

•   Multi-dimensional thinking for solutions and different target groups

•   Entrepreneurial attitude

•   Possesses a positive, team player attitude

•   Excellent interpersonal skills - must have the ability to communicate with diplomacy and interact with customers in a professional and positive manner

•   Frequent business travel for trainings, workshops, and customer visits
