Job Description:

Under the supervision and in collaboration with the Facility/Project Manager, provides assistance with proposals, cost estimates, contract change orders, subcontract change orders, submittals, and budgetary pricing of private construction projects. Helps compile, qualify and maintain good working relationships with subcontractors. Performs all functions and responsibilities in conjunction with the company’s values and beliefs and in alignment with corporate vision, mission and core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Facility/Project Manager with all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk, billing, etc.) for individual or multiple projects including but not limited to planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout

  • Supports with identifying project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process; Supports with assembling standard request for proposals; completes bid analysis

  • Supports in communication/facilitating plans for project meetings, plant communication, written reports/meeting minutes, progress photos, etc.

  • Demonstrates capability to read, understand and apply regulatory and Festo standards to project documents, including but not limited to; work letters, project charters, surveys, specifications and drawings.

  • Supports with tracking progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances.

  • Supports with change management routines to assess change requests, determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk and make recommendations

  • Performs frequent audits of work executed onsite to ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with the specifications and Festo standards

  • Complete cumulative project (summary of Coop accomplishments) and present to executive team or appropriate managers

  • Follow all company, safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.

  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. (i.e. company credit card number).

  • Additional work hours in excess of normal business hours may be necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities. This includes extra efforts required for infrequent or short duration
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Experience and Skills:

  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization and outside partnerships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Project

  • Revit, CAD, Blue Beam.

  • Experience in construction and professional work environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Commitment to providing customer service

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
