Job Description:


This is an exciting opportunity to be able to support the infrastructure and design of our new R&D Center in Mason, OH.  You will interact with our sales force, customers and our HQ in Germany and be working with project teams to convert requirement into technical concepts considering different technologies with the best cost/performance ratio. You will have the excitement and challenges of a startup combined with the security and benefits of a global company. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Qualification of electric/pneumatic actuators and valves/valve terminals in cooperation with HQ in Germany
  • Testing support of the design department from prototype to series production.

  • Creation of test plans and responsible execution of qualification and release, taking into account the relevant standards

  • Conception, set-up and execution of development-accompanying tests and functional verifications

  • Conduct of product-specific testing to assess service life and reliability

  • Responsibility for test facility and equipment maintenance and management

  • Independent evaluation and assessment of the test results as well as their documentation and preparation of the required verification documents

  • Support in conception and set-up of testing technology for production

  • Support of the product complaint procedure with damage investigation and analysis




Experience and Skills:

  • Master degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable qualification

  • Knowledge of test and measurement technology and ideally in the assessment of automated systems

  • Professional experience in the field of testing

  • Teamwork and communication skills

  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English, ideally basic knowledge of German

  • Confident command of common office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Willingness to spend several weeks in Germany and Boston during the onboarding process
