Job Description:

  • Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department regarding day to day HR Operations, including but not limited to; compliance and government reporting, HRIS, employee relations, administration, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, communication and clerical responsibilities.
  • Provide general office support including answering phones and employee requests and questions, mail distribution,
  • Ordering office supplies, maintaining confidential records and filing (electronic and/or paper).
  • Ensure efficient distribution of employee communication and federal/state compliance postings and notification.
  • Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains books current.
  • Updates HR reports (excel and database) as required
  • Assists with processing of terminations.
  • Assists with various research projects and/or special projects.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process.
  • Assists with the various employee discount coupons by contacting companies for coupons as directed.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence.
  • Prepares new employee files.
  • Processes mail including creating mail merges for mass mailings
  • Back up for receptionist when necessary
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

  • High School Diploma required (Associates Degree preferred)
  • 2 years experience in a fast-paced office environment
  • Experience/Exposure to Human Resources Topics a Must
  • Computer literacy a must
