Job Description:

  • Directly supports the New Product Introduction Manager with Customer Solutions Project Management and related Initiatives.
  • Maintain and define processes for Customer Solutions (CS) integrations into the Mason Operations via the Project Control Panel.
  • Plays a central role in supporting Customer Solutions project management with end-to-end responsibilities and coordinating tasks to drive success across teams including: Engineering, Purchasing, Technical Manufacturing Specialists, Production Planning, Materials Management, Finance, Production, HQ and Leadership.
  • Fosters CS business growth within the CS Team and Across North America through partnering with CS Customers and satellite offices.
  • Owns the make/buy decision within the Mason facility for new and existing projects/products.

  • Maintains a strong influence over master data standards via a detailed understanding of the logic and parameters in the material master in relation to strategies for inventory, sourcing, planning, maintenance of service levels, costing, lead times, consumption-based planning, etc.

  • Responsibilities include:
    • Ensuring project documentation is maintained accurately and efficiently across all systems
    • Providing guidance to other departments regarding project related documentation, processes, key tasks and milestones and driving efficiency across teams.
    • Supporting Global Supply Chain master data via new item set-up and maintenance of project related parameters
    • Maintaining work procedures pertaining to all aspects and scope of project management and assisting in driving an overall successful solution through team work
    • Ensure stock availability and organize/accommodate Customer-specific logistics processes
    • Execution, examination, and mitigation of supply chain risk analysis to include:
      • Costs management
      • Sourcing alternatives
      • Supply Chain Coordination
      • Prioritization of projects/orders
      • Capacity and advance procurement considerations
      • Process Improvement
    • Other duties as assigned by management

Experience and Skills:

  • BS in Business Management or Related Technical and/or Supply Chain Management
  • Project Management Experience a Must, Certification a Plus
  • Engineering or Technical Degree a plus
  • 5+  years of relevant job experience. Technical, ERP system experience and manufacturing industry knowledge or equivalent combinations of education and experience
  • ERP Materials Planning experience required; SAP knowledge a plus.
  • Project Management Experience
  • Ability to read blueprints/drawings a plus
  • Excellent presentation & written communication skills & experience
  • Computer Literate, MS Office, Proficiency PowerPoint and Excel (Pivot, Vlookup)
  • Advanced Analytical skills through Excel, VBA, Macro, PowerPivot, PowerQuery Preferred.
  • High focus on timeliness and quality of project deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize to support success
