Job Description:

  • Fulfill all expectations regarding logistics special requirements from customers for shipping merchandise. Help to both increase our customer engagement and support all involved parties to the special requirements. (ie. Transactions, portals, labeling etc.)
  • Strong communications skills. This person will need to communicate via email, phone or portal tools with both the Customer and sales teams.
  • Technical skills, ability to utilize and multitask in several systems. (ie. Internet portals, Witron, SAP, etc.) It may require logging into a website with the details of the customer order, input details from our shipment, and print customer specific packing slips to include with our shipments. Regular interaction with non-Festo software is likely.
  • Ability (And willingness) to “go the extra mile”. The very nature of this role is to fulfill things that are outside of our normal automated processes and will often have to interact with all levels of the organization to support them with tasks that are non-standard.
  • Physical skills.  Employee will need to be able to lift up to 50lbs packages, and use pallet jacks to transport freight shipments.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as required.

 

Experience and Skills:

  • High School Diploma
  • Or equivalent combination of education or experience
  • 1 years of relevant business experience necessary
  • Requires Strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, websites knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills from shop floor to executive level
  • Positive attitude/ Can Do / Willingness to go the extra mile
