Job Description:

  • Manages master data, production capacity, and production scheduling to ensure on time delivery for local build products.
  • Runs demand peaks and releases orders consistently as to provide correct delivery dates. Schedules order quantities that are above the demand peak quantity and communicates ship dates to sales.

  • Manages YOM Requests.

  • Successful analysis of open planned orders and conversion to production order

  • Schedules production orders to meet customer delivery date utilizing tools like YCPX for MTO products and Dispo Cockpit for MTS products

  • Manages capacity planning per value stream to ensure an accurate workload in production

  • Executes the exception messages in Dispo Cockpit for overdue production orders, postpone and cancel production orders

  • Utilize Dispo Cockpit to manage safety stock, min/max levels.

  • Maintain and review material master settings

  • Works with production to ensure timely completion of production orders and scheduling of large orders.

  • Works with production coordinators to expedite locally built parts for Priority sales requests

  • Evaluates missing parts and works with the Supply Chain analysts to get best possible delivery schedule

  • Works with engineering for all errors related to production orders (no bill of material, wrong IRP setting etc.)

  • Works with quality to expedites components rework, receival or material in blocked status.

  • Executes make or buy decision in case of large orders or very long lead times for components and communicates to sales accordingly

  • Works with the Supply Chain Analyst / Engineering in case of master data issues e.g. no costing, new component set-up etc.

  • Preform Delivery Reliability Analysis to identify part numbers / product lines that are consistently not meeting DCR and take actions to increase DCR.

  • Analyzes the scheduling tool (YCPX program) and recognizes ongoing development opportunities to ensure process works correctly

  • Utilizes transactions in P15 to set-up extended lead time in case of missing parts for locally build configurable products

Experience and Skills:

  • Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3-4 years of relevant job experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.

  • Inventory and Production Control background preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and SAP
  • Customer Service Experience preferred
