Job Description:

  • Software engineering for Liquid Handling and Medical Device Solutions and Components
  • Development projects in teams with electrical and mechanical engineers
  • Design and implementation of Software modules optimally representing the customer’s requirements, both embedded (e.g. C, C++) and PC based (e.g. C#, NI LabVIEW)
  • Development of automated measurement software for internal component testing (e.g. NI LabVIEW based)
  • Perform software documentation, unit test plans, and quality analysis.
  • Alignment and adaption of software development process with headquarter in Germany
  • Work effectively with cross disciplinary teams of mechanical, electrical, software, biomedical and testing engineers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug products in production and service as required.

Experience and Skills:

  • Above average Bachelor or Master of Science' degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or Electrical Engineering with focus on embedded systems is required.
  • 5 to 10 years of industrial experience ideally in the field of industrial automation, robotics, medical devices or semiconductors.
  • Broad technical interest and high self-motivation to build up knowledge in new areas
  • Expertise both in embedded and .NET based software development (C, C++, .NET)
  • Knowledge of PLC/ CODESYS, NI LabVIEW programming are a strong plus
  • Strong team spirit, flexibility and self-management
  • Embedded and .NET based software development (C, C++, .NET), closed loop controlling algorithms and network technology / interfaces, knowledge of PLC/ CODESYS, NI LabVIEW
