Job Description:


Responsible for coordinating projects, working closely with internal and client project managers across the supply chain, maintaining Master Data for project and Life Cycle related rollouts and interacting with all levels of business in the supply chain.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Direct support to the NPI Manager and will have the opportunity to make an impact with the clients and projects.
  • Support to explicitly selected Custom Solutions projects as the central role for the order execution (end-to-end responsibility, partial project management)
  • Investigate production possibilities within the Mason facility for new products (MTO, MTS, MTP). For existing projects/products (transfer) & brand-new projects/products (initial build)
  • Support to explicitly selected Series projects (i.e. LOT, LifeCycle) as the central role for the (end-to-end responsibility, partial project management)
  • Investigate opportunities and project management across the supply chain (MTO, MTS). For series projects that only need to be driven and managed to completion
  • Responsibilities include coordinating Global Supply Chain master data item set-up, maintenance and pricing;
  • Ensuring all data is maintained accurately and efficiently among all systems; understanding the impacts of the Master Data;
  • Providing guidance to other departments regarding project related Master Data
  • Documenting, reviewing and updating all work procedures pertaining to all aspects of project scope while assisting in the overall solution drive success and team work.
  • Ensure stock availability according to market supply concept and planning of customer-specific logistics processes
  • Examination of all supply chain relevant aspects and supply chain risk analysis
  • Obtaining manufacturing, purchasing, and logistics costs
  • If necessary, initiation of the setup of "second source" to ensure delivery
  • Prioritization of orders
  • Initiate advance procurement of production material within the agreed approval level
  • Consideration of the results from the supply chain risk analysis for the value stream
  • Ensuring delivery capability
  • Provide production documentation
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Experience and Skills:

  • BS in Business Management or Related Technical and/or Supply Chain Management
  • Project Management Experience a Must, Certification a Plus
  • Engineering or Technical Degree a plus
  • 5+  years of relevant job experience. Technical, ERP system experience and manufacturing industry knowledge or equivalent combinations of education and experience
  • ERP Materials Planning experience required; SAP knowledge a plus.
  • Project Management Experience
  • Ability to read blueprints/drawings a plus
  • Excellent presentation & written communication skills & experience
  • Computer Literate, MS Office, Proficiency PowerPoint and Excel (Pivot, Vlookup)
  • Advanced Analytical skills through Excel, VBA, Macro, PowerPivot, PowerQuery Preferred.
  • High focus on timeliness and quality of project deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize to support success
