Job Description:

Develops, manages, coordinates, and administers a variety of programs & activities covering multiple HR activities.


  • Acts as a business partner to support internal management and supervision and provide direction and support and interpretation of company policies, employee relations, performance management.

  • General HR program/policy development, administration and compliance.

  • Manage and track training modules for standardize company-wide training.

  • Collaborate with management on develop of new company trainings.

  • Support day to day HR business functions including; recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, terminations, records maintenance, employee labor relations & communications.

  • Coaching of lower level professionals, provide support and feedback.

  • Identify and development and documentation of key HR processes and provide direction and education to the organization (peers, employees & management)

  • Continuously evaluate/review HR processes and programs for relevance and effectiveness for the current business state/organization. 

  • Program Coordinator for Apprentice Program.
  • Develop and deliver orientation and assimilation programs and training. 
  • Develop competency models and shop floor assessments and qualification matrixes.
  • Compensation strategy development aligned to core, key plant metrics



Experience and Skills:


  • Must have 2+ year of experience in Human Resources specifically in manufacturing and/or operations environment.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience building presentations in Powerpoint and Prezi, Adobe or other tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Ohio state employment laws and federal employment law.
  • Ability to relate and communicate with all levels of employees through excellent listening and communication skills that engender trust and support.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office, in particular MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to face complex problems and make decisions independently.
