Job Description:

Purpose/Mission: Manages master data, production capacity, and production scheduling to ensure on time delivery for local build small assembly products.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Runs demand peaks and releases orders consistently as to provide correct delivery dates. Schedules order quantities that are above the demand peak quantityand communicates ship dates to sales.

  • Manages YOM Requests.

  • Successful analysis of open planned orders and conversion to production order

  • Schedules production orders to meet customer delivery date utilizing tools like YCPX for MTO products

  • Manages capacity planning in the SAA value stream to ensure an accurate workload

  • Executes the exception messages in Dispo Cockpit for overdue production orders, postpone and cancel production orders

  • Maintain and review material master settings >> Sizemore

  • Works with SAA team to ensure timely completion of production orders and scheduling of large orders.

  • Works with production coordinators/Supervisor to expedite locally built parts for Priority sales requests

  • Evaluates missing parts and works with the Supply Chain analysts to get best possible delivery schedule

  • Works with CS engineering for all errors related to production orders (no bill of material, wrong IRP setting etc.)

  • Works with quality to expedite components rework, receival or material in blocked status.

  • Works with the Supply Chain Analyst (NPI) / CS Engineering in case of master data issues e.g. no costing, new component set-up etc.

  • Analysis, evaluation and optimization of logistics Target processes and their implementation in a predetermined Framework, considering the economy and process stability

  • Creating reports about consumption and deviate decisions in regards of KANBAN min/max and bin size

  • Controlling of KANBAN cycles (cards, elimination, addition, …)

  • Setting up KANBAN cycles for new products working with manufacturing engineering

  • Addressing KANBAN issues with the according party and fix it

  • Implementing and organizing cycle counts within the Kanban storage

  • Communication with Internal and/or external Customers, Suppliers as well as Third Parties
  • Communicates with warehouse, production, manufacturing engineering and supply chain management

  • Is able to develop a consensus between the parties if necessary

  • Communicates with Management and other employees in RSC.


Experience and Skills:

Educational Background:

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience


Professtional Knowledge & Experiences:

  • 3-4 years of relevant job experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
  • Inventory and Production Control background preferred.
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and SAP
  • Customer Service Experience preferred
  • Hands on
  • Technical basic understanding to work with Festo parts
  • Independent
  • Self Starter
