Job Description:

Purpose/Mission: Manages data, organization, analysis and justification of value stream supermarkets using Kanban replenishment method.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Analysis, evaluation and optimization of Kanban supermarket. Includes selection, bin sizing/quantity, slotting, and management of lineside supermarkets
  • Utilizes lean principles to design and implement Kanban replenishment from the main warehouse to lineside supermarkets
  • Creating reports about consumption and improvement decisions in regards of KANBAN min/max and bin size
  • Controlling of KANBAN cycles (cards, elimination, addition, …)
  • Setting up KANBAN cycles for new products working with manufacturing engineering
  • Addressing KANBAN issues with the appropriate parties and solution implementation
  • Implementing and organizing cycle counts within the Kanban storage
  • Communication with Internal and/or external Customers, Suppliers as well as Third Parties
  • Communicates with warehouse, production, manufacturing engineering and supply chain management
  • Is able to develop a consensus between the parties if necessary
  • Communicates with Management and other employees in RSC

 

 

Experience and Skills:

Educational Background:

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Professional Knowledge & Experiences:

  • 3-4 years of relevant job experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
  • Inventory and Production Control background preferred.
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and SAP
  • Hands on
  • Technical basic understanding to work with Festo parts
  • Independent
  • Self Starter
