Job Description:

  •  Supervises delegates and evaluates employees in receiving, picking, packaging and shipping areas amongst other departments.
  • Follows and maintains work instructions per ISO standards and requirements.
  • Effectively utilizes warehouse management system to control inventory, warehouse orders, operator productivity, cycle counts, quality and process improvements on a daily basis.
  • Analyzes daily management reports.
  • Checks on orders to ensure that they are picked correctly and on time per customer expectations.
  • Responsible for employee assignment to meet expectations, achieve daily results and complete workload.
  • Responsible for conducting annual performance appraisals in coordination with Warehouse Manager.
  • Responsible for achieving company and managerial KPI’s.
  • Responsible for effective and proper implementation of 5’s, continuous improvements, lean manufacturing, safety and quality improvement.
  • Maintains adherence to company policies, safety and good housekeeping practices.
  • Assists in the monitoring of inventory to maximize warehouse space.
  • Responsible for the training of new hires.
  • Responsible for cycle counts of inventory.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of security in the warehouse area.
  • Responsible for proper use of equipment and equipment maintenance.
  • Responsible for the proper usage of all material handling equipment (forklifts, ASRS cranes, conveyors, hoists, and moveable storage racks) per Festo safety requirements and ISO standards.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager.
  • Overtime may be required as business needs mandate.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
  • Supervises Leads, Senior Operator and Warehouse Operators
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, making recommendations for hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 5 years of experience
  • 5-10 years within manufacturing environment.
  • 2-5 years production management experience
