Job Description:

  •  Provide a wide range of HR support to the RSC and international functions under the NAM Cluster, including but not limited to, ensuring the successful rollout of global HR initiatives and alignment of global corporate standards (e.g. Talent Development, Roles & Competences, and Success Factors), international recruitment, work permits and immigration project management, and the design and implementation of training initiatives to aid in the achievement of NAM operational goals
  • Provide support, guidance and coaching to employee and management regarding various human resources topics, employee relation issues, concerns and questions. Build and maintain strong business relationships with all internal clients.
  • Act as a strategic human resources business partner by aligning business objectives with employee and management needs. Successfully balance the competing priorities of the company, its customers and its employees.
  • Provide full-cycle recruitment services for various positions. This includes, but is not limited to, the creation and coordination of job postings and job ads, the conducting of phone interviews, in-person interviews and reference checks, the preparation/presentatio of offer letters, new hire orientations and onboarding, and proper/timely follow-up with new employees to elicit feedback to aid with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the design and implementation of newly created or modified positions, including, but is not limited to, the construction of job descriptions and onboarding/training programs
  • Lead performance and talent management, succession planning, training and development initiatives, performance improvement plans, discipline procedures and terminations.
  • Assist in ensuring the proper and accurate maintenance and review of salary structure, position documentation and the evaluation system.
  • Coordinate disability claim management processes and return to work programs
  • Provide a variety of support functions, participating in adhoc HR projects and initiatives, including the development, interpretation, implementation and application of Festo policies and procedures. Ensure legal compliance and current legislative requirements are met.
  • Manage and coach HR administrative Staf
  • Other duties and special HR projects as assigned.
  • Continuously review and analyse current business processes, procedures, tools and goals, and reconfigure and/or develop new HR methods to improve productivity, efficiency and operational costs (within the parameters outlined by the NAM Cluster and Festo Headquarters). Help predict future challenges and methods to mitigate against risk and waste of resources
  • Provide proactive support in the delivery of company and HR objectives, identifying gaps, and proposing and implementing solutions to both improve process functionality, efficiency and effectiveness, and mitigate against internal and external risks (within the parameters outlined by the NAM Cluster and Festo Headquarters)

Experience and Skills:

  • Undergraduate University Degree required.
  • Degree in Business or HR related study preferred.
  • Human Resources post-graduate certification strongly preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant business experience.
  • Experience with HR Generalist, employee relations, recruiting and payroll
