Job Description:

 Location - Eatontown, New Jersey

Summary of job contents

  • Reporting directly to the Head of Finance this position functions as a key contributor for the development, analysis, reporting, supporting audit and establishment of policies procedures.  Performs functions with hands-on expertise in development of processes related to reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, general ledger, and policies and procedures. Handles special projects assigned by management.  Support Head of Finance with local compliance controls/establishment of compliance management system. The candidate will report indirectly to Quality Process manager to provide support with various reporting functions, special projects, and other assignments.


 Key Accountabilities


  • Financial Planning and Analysis, reporting on any discrepancies, recommend improvements and trend analysis
  • Creating weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports for the Head of Finance, CEO and Management Team locally and global management
  • Financial modeling and consulting
  • Experience with reports (Margin Reports, Cost-Center, Fixed Assets Accounting, Monthly Close, etc.)
  • Support monthly closing- General Ledger and Analytical financial statement reviews
  • Support head of finance with budget/forecasting/audits/tax and reporting
  • Prepare management reporting for internal and external management teams
  • Support with establishing policies and procedures along with internal audit team
  • Utilize SAP BI systems and applications for analysis and reporting purposes
  • Support divisions and other corporate departments
  • Assist with the monthly closing, quarterly forecasting/reporting and year end processes
  • Meeting with department managers, as well as, provide financial guidance to other departments in making critical business decisions
  • Support with fixed asset accounting as required
  • Support other ad-hoc finance projects as needed


Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Accounting, Finance)

  • Minimum 4 - 10 years’ work experience in accounting/finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Importing and exporting data in excel
  • Familiarity with SAP/BI
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Good analytical capabilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to teamwork and strong work ethic
