Job Description:

  • Executes and develops new robust test methods to quantify key attributes in developing product specification throughout the development process.
  • Manages the execution of varying types of complex test cases (functional tests, endurance tests, EMC, certifications, etc.).
  • Analyzes system/application architecture seeking to identify additional testing entry points to reduce project risk.
  • Design and execute experiments for the purpose of root cause analysis in coordination with various technical experts.
  • Perform detailed project planning and documentation of test results and reports.
  • Build and test prototype designs for proof of concept.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and services.

Experience and Skills:

  • Above average Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of technology concept, technical standards and methodologies in the life science sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of key tools used for analysis, testing, and development for liquid handling systems.
  • Experience in multiple programming languages and tools a plus.
  • Proficient in new and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated strong documentation and organization skills.
  • Understanding of mathematical modeling techniques and an understanding of statistics including design of experiments are important. 
  • Knowledge of statistics control, Six Sigma, and other design for excellence method with will be a benefit.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; presentation skills.
