Job Description:

  • Conduct the day-to-day material requirements planning and associated inventory planning and control

  • Conduct the day to day procurement/purchasing

  • Update material master data (35,000+) for active FESTO parts with other Supply Chain Planners/Analysts

  • Works to achieve KPI’s/Metrics

  • Reports within Supply Chain using tools but not limited to SAP R/3, BI/BO, Dispo-cockpit, established tools & process, and using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Visio, Access)

  • Collaborates with Supply Chain Planners in planning for new items and items to be transitioned or discontinued and update the material catalogue at RSC.

  • Collaborates with production planning to ensure material availability for production orders

  • Collaborates with Global Festo supplying organizations

 

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, SAP a plus.

  • APICS certification a plus.

  • Knowledge in all facets of material, logistics, procurement, Warehousing, and Supply Chain Management in general. 

  • 2 years+ of experience in planning/purchasing/supply chain with a focusing spare parts with multi-national interfaces.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

  • Works independently with general supervision

  •  Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.

  • May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
