Job Description:

  • Creation of detailed, mid-range account strategies in agreement with the customer.
  • Build-up and management of account and project teams, including operational management of specialists engaged on customer projects.
  • Planning of activities necessary to achieve sales objectives.
  • Identify and win projects based on excellent automation competence.
  • International cooperation.
  • Achieve development milestones with designated customers.
  • Ensure satisfactory levels of customer satisfaction with designated customers.
  • Effective performance of sales meetings with customers to identify needs and gain customer acceptance of Festo product and solutions.
  • Development of necessary levels of knowledge regarding decision makers, decision making processes and requirements of customers to be able to win respect and gain influence at highest management levels.
  • Supports the definition and marketing of customer solutions as input for the product development process.
  • Initiates and leads process improvements in order to develop key accounts in a more efficient and effective way e.g. through capacity planning in SAP.
  • Contributes to the product development process within the scope of developing solutions by identification and internationalisation of customer requirements with regard to products and systems.

Experience and Skills:

  • Technical degree (Automation, Process Engineering or Mechatronics preferred).
  • Postgraduate study in Technical Business or Business Administration is a plus.
  • 5-7  years of experience.
  • IT skills such as CRM Tools, MS Office.
  • Basic knowledge in the industry segment area in which his Key Account is dedicated.
  • Experience in direct sales and/or project management.
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills in English and Spanish
