Coordinates inventory movement of production material within the Dept. and finished products to and from the SAS Production department to the Warehouse by performing the following duties.

  • Receives, verifies, and separates production orders for components.
  • Attaches production orders to materials.
  • Moves materials from storage, receiving, and packaging areas to designated work areas.
  • Packages and/or labels finished product.
  • Receives finished product into the warehouse management system.
  • Lifts heavy objects by hand.
  • May operate a forklift or pallet jack to assist in loading and unloading of materials.
  • Removes products upon request for inspection.
  • Organizes and maintains a clean storage, receiving and packaging area.
  • Packaging of finished products in various areas to be delivered to the WMS.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as required

      • Conducts a inventory of production, in process and incomplete orders. Discusses results with supervisory and/or production control personnel.

      • Loads and unloads materials from and to conveyors, carts, wagons, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.

 

Experience and Skills:

Skills and knowledge:

High School Diploma or GED

1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Manufacturing/Warehousing Experience
