Job Description:

  • Primary responsibility is to work within the cluster team to develop the business strategy and business development objectives for the defined customers in this industry.
  • Effectively handle assigned customers through consultative selling and the technical understanding of applications.
  • Responsible for customer visit planning, account planning and maintaining documentation of visits in Festo's CRM tool.
  • Work effectively in a matrix based environment by collaborating and working with distribution, sales engineers, district managers, and application engineers.
  • Analyzes the market to search for new potential customers and automation trends in the industry.
  • Recommends pricing strategies according to customer situation in coordination with the objectives of the industry segment.
  • Is the main contact to customer and is responsible for the implementation project team, including the coordination of national or international projects.
  • Participate in an extensive training program, including aspects of both process and industrial automation, fluid power, and general industry training and product training.
  • Business Development for Process Automation global key accounts, particularly in Biotech/Pharmaceutical Cosmetics, Water and Chemical industries.

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5-7 years of industry segment experience is preferred.
  • Experience working within a multi-channel organization.
  • Working knowledge of fluid power, process valves, and controls is required.
  • Field sales, key account management experience.
  • Exposure or demonstrated involvement to account development with a long selling cycle.
